The professionals who staff The Albert M. Higley Co. Healthcare Center of Excellence have a proven track record of project success and working chemistry. Many members of the group are ASHE Certified or LEED® Accredited Professionals. They are intimately aware of healthcare construction protocols, as well as the JCAHO requirements, Infection Control Risk Assessments, and Interim Life Safety Measures. They have ample experience with the leading national and local healthcare architects and the principles and practical application of evidence-based and universal patient room design standards.

Dave Pastir, ASHE, LEED® Cleveland Office
Mr. Pastir began his career in the construction industry in 1992 with The Albert M. Higley Co. as a Project Engineer. He earned a B.S. in Construction Technology from The University of Akron in 1994. He received promotion to Project Manager in 1998. He is a member of ASHE and received his Healthcare Construction Certificate in 2004. He became a LEED® Accredited Professional the same year. In 2007, he earned promotion to Senior Project Manager.

Jay Matson, ASHE, LEED® Columbus Office
Mr. Matson earned his B.A. in Physics in 1978 from Kenyon College. He began his construction career in Houston, Texas that same year. After spending 18 years with a large Central Ohio construction company, the last nine as the Vice President of Field Operations, he joined The Albert M. Higley Co. in 2009 as Senior Project Manager. Mr. Matson obtained LEED® Accreditation in January 2009.
