HEALTHY SNACK TIME AT MARION-STERLING ELEMENTARY
Your Community Service Committee would like to thank the team of volunteers who visited Ms. Morton’s kindergarten class at Marion Sterling Elementary to help the children create and enjoy some fruit pizza snacks. Rice cakes topped with a sauce made of yogurt, peanut butter and honey were decorated with fresh fruit by the very enthusiastic chefs.
Kathlene Hartley, Kim Sassmannshausen, Jon Ferrell, Ricardo Henry, Jim Boyd, Jason Pastor and Cesar Sepulveda all contributed to the event by finding a delicious recipe, shopping for ingredients and guiding the children through the creation of their treats. Many thanks to all for a very successful event!
