BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

SUMMARY

The Production Assistant of Business Development reports to the Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for assisting the business development team + internal resources in helping the company secure profitable new business and retain current customers.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proposal Development and Production: Work with Senior Manager of Business Development in preparing responses to RFQ’s and RFP’s
  • CRM (Customer Relationship Management Software) lead data entry/proposal data mining
  • Presentation folder assembly
  • Proposal delivery
  • Work with the Manager of Marketing and Communications to develop and maintain marketing materials
  • Assist in updating social media accounts
  • Career fair and trade show supply coordination which includes preparation and ordering of materials and
    signage/displays
  • Award submittals
  • Advance industry knowledge through participating in educational opportunities and professional industry organizations
  • Proactively contribute to the Business Development Departments’ specific vision and strategy
  • Lead-mine on Dodge + Builders Exchange

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passion for the core values, ethics and integrity of The Albert M. Higley Co.
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree in Marketing, Communication or a related area (may be substituted with substantial work experience in the commercial Construction or A&E industry)
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the building design and construction industry is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills including conflict resolution, training, teaching and presenting
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Experience with State and Federal A/E qualification forms is a plus
  • Accustomed to working in a team environment on challenging projects with tight deadlines
  • Well-organized and self-motivated; strong ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Project management skills with special attention to meeting deadlines and juggling many tasks at a time
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and experience with InDesign is a plus
