
Human Resources Coordinator
SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator is an entry level position reporting-up to the Senior Director of Human Resources with a direct report to the Senior Human Resource Generalist. Duties include assisting in the coordination and implementation of numerous HR initiatives and programs.
THE PREFERRED CANDIDATE
- Maintain weekly communications with hiring managers and candidates from scheduling interviews and preparing offer letters
- Develop and maintain current social media recruiting options
- Collect and maintain a database of all resumes/applications
- Manage recruiter agreements
- Maintain company job descriptions and roles/responsibilities documents
- Onboarding
- Process E-Verify checks
- Maintaining and updating employee files
- Coordinate career fairs and intern program
- Develop and maintain relationships with college and university placement offices
- Coordinate company standard training sessions and seminars
- Document, interpret, and apply company policies and procedures
- Assist with managing our Drug Free Workplace and MVR program
- Process Internal and External HR communications
- Prepare reports, surveys and audits as requested by staff
- Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information
- Assist with department filing and mailings as needed
- Take on special projects as requested
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Passion for the core values, ethics, and integrity of The Albert M. Higley Co.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, business, or related area
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- HRIS experience, Ceridian Dayforce a plus
- Knowledge of broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
- Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented
- Accustomed to working in a team environment on challenging projects with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills including conflict resolution, training, teaching, and presenting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Available for occasional travel
