DENISON UNIVERSITY – CAMPUS COMMONS PROJECTS

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Albert M. Higley Co. served as Construction Manager at Risk for Denison University’s campus commons projects, including:

  • Burton D. Morgan Center – This five story building houses an alumni center, offices, faculty common room, internet and satellite-connected classrooms, a 120-seat auditorium, and the Welsh Hill Room for special events, receptions and dinners.
  • Samson Talbot Hall - This building features flexible teaching labs and interactive lecture and seminar rooms, and a 292-seat circular auditorium, all crowned by a spectacular greenhouse. The Chemistry Center contains six well equipped laboratories focusing on molecular biology and biochemistry.
  • A new 5.8-acre campus commons built over a new 389-car, 4-story underground parking garage.
