CORNHOLE FOR A CAUSE

On Saturday, September 12th, AMHigley’s Community Service Committee sponsored a double elimination cornhole tournament at Local Tavern in Parma. Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a foundation for childhood cancer, and an AMHigley employee’s family shared in the tournament proceeds. The committee, company, and many generous employees donated to the causes and contributed to a day filled with food, fun, and a little rain.…

WEDNESDAYS AT THE FARM

Every Wednesday in August, AMHigley employees are volunteering to harvest crops at Trinity Community Farm on Cedar Avenue. The harvest is donated to the Lutheran Metro Ministry Central Kitchen for distribution to local residents in need. This is the ​fourth consecutive year that our Community Service Committee has volunteered and we have 28 different employees to thank for their time.…

SUMMERTIME SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE

This summer, your Community Service Committee hosted a school supply drive to benefit local children who are awaiting home placement in the foster care program of the Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services. 2015 AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

While AMHigley participates ​in many blood drives for the American Red Cross, on July 2, AMHigley completed its third annual ​July in-house collection. Turning our training room into a makeshift "​M.A.S.H." unit, 11 employees ​decided to "give" at the office! Donors included Wes Hansen, Jim Boyd, Dave Meehan, Dan Sehlhorst, Chuck Stephenson, Chip Snow, Kyle Keegan, Kathy Heflin, Rex Lewers, Anne Chambers, and retired employee John Terwoord.
