STORY HOUR AT MARION-STERLING ELEMENTARY-UPDATE!
Your Community Service Committee would like to thank our Story Hour readers for a very successful visit to the kindergarten class at Marion-Sterling Elementary School last Tuesday. Tom Lippert, Emily Lynn, Terry Cairns, and Kim Sassmannshausen enjoyed a very enthusiastic group of children, all of whom loved their storybooks, dental supplies and fleece blankets. Their teacher, Ms. Morton, enjoyed an afternoon that ran a little smoother for her as well.
Our thanks also go out to everyone who contributed to this effort – knotting blankets, wrapping gifts, shopping, and contributing to our fund so we could purchase all the supplies. We hope to schedule another event with the children after the holidays.
